Evan Cagle has been, at various points, an illustrator, graphic designer, set and production designer, and animation director. He is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, and sponsors the Animation Co-Op in Austin, Texas, where he lives and works. He was also the lead animator for the Richard Linklater film "A Scanner Darkly".
